Neville, Heber & Main Streets.  Vehicle registration will be open from 5 pm to 6 p.m.  The fee to enter the show is $15.  Streets will not open for line-up until 5pm.

A variety of specialty trophies will be awarded, along with door prizes during the show.  A new optional contest – “the best dressed to match your vehicle contest” – will be sponsored by Chick-fil-a.  Participants who dress to match the decade or color of their vehicle have a chance to win food coupons.

Everyone is invited to attend the event, view the vehicles, and enjoy a free concert by Old School Band from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.  The band performs a blend of oldies and dance music.  Family activities, children’s bounce house and games are planned.  Food and other vendors will be on hand. 

Free visitor parking will be available in the parking lot beside Word Park on Neville Street and on the top level of the Beckley Intermodal Gateway parking garage.

Following the event, The Raleigh Playhouse & Theatre will present the play “The Miss Firecracker Contest” at 8 p.m.  Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door.  Also, John Luckton offers historic ghost tours on Saturday evenings – call 304-256-TOUR for fee, reservations and other details.

Next on top for “Beckley Events” is the Cruise-In Car show on July 18th, this is part of the Friends of Coal Auto Fair activities.
