This annual festival in it’s 22nd  year, will be held in Beckley for the eighth consecutive year. Held in past years in Coalwood, WV (where Homer Hickam and the Rocket Boys grew up)  the event will be staged at the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine/New River Park and various other venues in the area

Saturday’s events begin at 8am at New River Park. There will be crafts, specialty vendors, music and a rocket launch. You will be able to meet Homer Hickam and the Rocket Boys at the Festival as well as meet and greet other WV authors on ‘Writer’s Row”.
