The Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine, Youth Museum of Southern WV, and the Raleigh County Beekeepers Cooperative Association have partnered on the annual Beckley Honey Festival in recognition of National Honeybee Day.

The Beckley Honey Festival will take place on the third Saturday in August on an annual basis and will be on August 17, 2024, at the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine in New River Park.

There will be local beekeepers selling honey, live honey bee demonstrations, display tents with equipment, educational presentations, all-day youth activities, and food vendors! Reduced rates of daily activities at the Exhibition Coal Mine will be available during the festival.
