25th Annual Beckley Chili Night October 3, 2015

Beckley will celebrate its 25th annual Chili Night on Saturday, October 3rd along the streets of uptown Beckley.  The event will feature more than 40 chili participants, along with 30+ other booths, and a variety of entertainment.

The $5 admission includes five chili sample tickets and a voting coin. Tickets may be purchased at the Youth Museum in advance and at several ticket booths located uptown during the event from 5 to 7 p.m. Other vendors will be selling non-chili food from hotdogs, chicken, bbq, tacos and hamburgers to fair food, baked goods, and drinks, plus other products.

In addition to tasting chili recipes and other food, attendees can enjoy a variety of musical entertainment at three stages, plus Myers Amusements will offer carnival rides.

Over the past 25 years, the event has grown from 400 attendees in 1991 to thousands of people filling the streets. Organized by the Beckley Events Committee, Chili Night is a fund-raiser that supports the group’s events throughout the year.  For more information, visit www.beckley.org.
