Beckley Art Center’s Dan & Cynthia Bickey Art Gallery wants you, our members, to use both ways to enjoy the season as inspiration for our next exhibition, Creature/Comfort.

As the title suggests, we are calling for submissions of original artwork that follow the prompts of creature and comfort. We hope to showcase some work that features the spooky, Halloweenesque themes, and some that feature themes about warmth and well-being. We think this mashup will be as fun as a relaxingly, an eerie helping of monster mashed potatoes!

Submission Requirements
All artwork must adhere to the Beckley Art Center Gallery Guidelines which can be found on our website: https://www.beckleyartcenter.com/

*Exceptions for this show: The creation time restriction within the guidelines will be waived for these special members’ exhibitions. Submitted work can be from past to present.*

Submissions for each exhibition must be sent to the Exhibition Committee at gallery@beckleyartcenter.com

Artists may submit up to six (6) pieces. To submit, digital images of each entry should be attached and sent by email on or before the submission deadline. Images must be .JPEG format in at least 300 dpi. Image files must be titled Lastname_Title and the dimensions of the piece should be included for each piece. If an artist’s work(s) is selected into the exhibition, they must complete and submit a consignment form and return to gallery@beckleyartcenter.com.

**The final decision on whether your artwork will be exhibited is at the sole discretion of the BAC Exhibition Committee.**
