A play about friendship, forgiveness, acceptance, and love. 'The Passing of Pearl' is set in a diner in Memphis in the 1980s. It tells the story of a brash, outspoken, hilarious, and wise waitress trying, along with her good friend and colleague Daphne, to pick up the pieces and carry on after the death of Pearl, the kindhearted old lady who owned the diner." -Bluefield Daily Telegraph.
Dinner Menu: Tamarack chop salad with Red Wine Vinaigrette; Cherry Wood Smoked Atlantic Salmon with Basil Marinated Shrimp Skewer; Pork Belly Risotto; Pan Roasted Asparagus; Honey Barbequed Hollandaise; and Banana Bread Pudding with Bourbon Glaze and Candied Ginger.
Tickets are $40 per person for each show. Each gourmet meal will be prepared by Chef Jamie Henderson and his wonderful staff of culinary craftspeople.
Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. in the Ballroom. The curtain will rise for each performance in the Gov. Hulett C. Smith Theater at 8:00 p.m.
